Our Approach

Kidz Connect Daycare and OSC believe that every child with different ability has the right to have equal access to and participate meaningfully in our program. The program further believes that overall development and positive social attitude are fostered through equal participation and group play. In our program, childcare professionals are responsive to the individual abilities and needs of each child. Opportunities are provided for all children to learn through play with their peers. Childcare professionals provide support to reduce or eliminate barriers so children can learn and fully engage in experiences with other children.

Philosophy

Learning by Doing Approach Kidz Connect Daycare and OSC's philosophy is inspired by Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Education, sees children learning on their feet, using their hands, and communicating their ideas in several ways. Children often communicate their ideas by making artwork out of naturel materials found in the earth. Visual and Tactile stimulation motivates a child's deep engagement with their surroundings making for a rich and rewarding.

Health & Safety

Our Daycare is dedicated to providing the highest standards of health and safety for our children. We have a comprehensive safety program in place, which includes regular safety checks, fire drill practice, and ensuring that all toys and equipment meet national safety standards.

Our staff are trained in first aid, and we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all our children. Our doors are locked for security, and all visitors are required to sign in and out. We also have an outdoor play area, which is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure the highest safety standards.
